I am a data scientist equipped with various techniques from statistics to artificial intelligence, who is an industrial engineer at the core. I started my career in academia, then moved to the private sector. I have experience in building and leading data science teams, as well as managing data citizenship programs. I have an excellent understanding of various types of problems and can effectively communicate with clients to establish their requirements and needs. During my tenure as a data science team leader, I provided data science consulting services to clients across various fields, with a primary focus on the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector and the automotive industry. I participated in and managed the modeling, development, and implementation processes by selecting the most suitable solution for the problem from a wide range of approaches, spanning from traditional methods to artificial intelligence applications.
I managed more than seven programs as part of the Data Citizenship Training Program. In these training programs, I conducted numerous sessions, including problem identification and solution techniques, introduction to algorithms, Python, and machine learning. I supported participants as a mentor in their projects.
During my tenure, I trained new graduates and team members new to data science to be able to both develop projects and conduct academic research. I worked as an expert data scientist on TEYDEB and KOSGEB project applications, as well as on supported projects. I have presented at various national and international conferences and congresses. I led projects that won awards in two of the application and industry competitions we participated in.
